West Reading Elm Street District

Elm Street District

The Elm Street initiative in West Reading will focus on residential neighborhood improvement. By working within the guidelines developed by the State, the local Neighborhood Advisory Committee will advocate for the neighborhood.

	Conduct neighborhood meetings
	Promote home ownership
	Devise traffic calming strategies
	Plant trees and create pocket parks
	Improve street lighting
	Implement a Neighborhood Watch
	Help enforce property maintenance
	Administer home improvement projects

These are but a few of the goals and objectives to be accomplished over a 5 year period continuing in 2007.
